What is Myofascial Release?

Myofascial Release

We offer myofascial release treatments to address specific injuries or concerns paired with therapeutic exercises to help you strengthen the areas that are weak.  myofascial release is different from therapeutic massage in that the goal is focused on a functional outcome such as to increase range of motion or decrease pain levels throughout a treatment course as opposed to solely relaxation and stress relief.  However, reduced stress and increased relaxation are added benefits of the treatments. myofasical release requires a greater level of expertise on the practitioners part in both medical notation and assisting in the diagnosis though more in depth knowledge of the muscles and body systems. All our practitioners delivering treatments are directly supervised by doctors (DOMs or DNs) in the office that are coordinating and evaluating your care.
