WE NOW OFFER ACUPUNCTURE FOR FERTILITY

Dr. Nicole Barnard, D.O.M., F.A.B.O.R.M.  (Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine)

I have been practicing this fascinating type of medicine since 2006. Receiving acupuncture to cure an ear infection, in place of antibiotics and pain relievers, was my eye-opening introduction.

**I’m a specialist in Women’s Health and Fertility. See aborm.org for more information on my specialty, assisting both IVF and natural attempts to conceive.

In 2023 I moved my practice to New Mexico from Atlanta, GA.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1993 with a B.A. in Spanish and Linguistics. From there I went on to Speech Pathology school at California State. My Linguistics background served me the most though when it came time to learn and pronounce the hundreds of Chinese herbs and formulas by their Chinese names! Fortunately, studying foreign languages is my first passion.

My Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), is from The Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This is a four-year program focusing on herbal formulas, acupuncture, and modern medicine understanding.

I’ve served as an acupuncture advisor to the Georgia Medical Board, and thanks to my fertility specialty, I get to work closely with Reproductive Biology Associates and other IVF clinics.

As a fertility specialist, no two patients of mine will receive the same acupuncture treatment. Nor will anyone receive the same points every visit.

I use Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis to select points for women who need their cycles regulated, or ovulation improved, or PMS symptoms to decline.  Then I use recently researched protocols for more specific medical goals, such as increasing the uterine lining or maintaining progesterone levels.

Testimonials

“Nicole and acupuncture helped balance out my hormones to carry a successful pregnancy to term.  Regular doctors, pills and shots were always too little too late.  After almost 3 years of trying, acupuncture kept my levels where they needed to be, and now we have a beautiful baby boy!”  – S.M.

“With my first child I tried acupuncture with Nicole and 1 round of IUI and got pregnant at 39.  With my second pregnancy I did IUI 3 times without acupuncture and  my specialist recommended IVF for the next step.  It wasn’t something I could afford, so I tried IUI one more time with a cycle of acupuncture with Nicole and got pregnant.  I’m almost 42.  I highly recommend it alone or with IUI or IVF.”  – K.C.

“I moved to Atlanta a year ago.  I had been working in a high-stress corporate environment.  For many years I have suffered with severe pain in my right shoulder and right arm.  I have tried everything to fix it – physiotherapy helped to  relieve the pain but it was not until I reached out to Nicole Mobley that I was finally cured and relieved of the pain forever.  I met with Nicole on a number of occasions and the pain disappeared completely.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank Nicole for her work.  She has a very professionaly approach. I have recommended many of my friends and family go to visit the “miracle worker”.  Thanks again!”  – D.C.

“I’ve been gong to Nicole for acupuncture treatments for a year now.  She is very thorough and cares about my progress/improvements as well as issues that need to be addressed.  I highly recommend Nicole.”  – R.T.

“This summer I tried acupuncture for my allergies and this was the first time I could breathe easy all summer.  I went to Nicole Mobley, she has a soft touch and you don’t even notice the needles.  I highly recommend Nicole and will be seeing her again soon.” – A.H.

“Just got the genetics test back from the doctor and we are having a healthy baby boy!  I have a migraine from crying from relief.  I will be going through this experience with Nicole next year.”  – K.C.
